NOKIA E61i USB on GNU/Linux

Currently I'm emailing my photo's and video's from my NOKIA E61i to my Yahoo! mail and then downloading them to my Apple iMac G3 (running Xubuntu 6.06.01) and then uploading them to VOX !

There must be "a better way" but when I use the USB connect cable from my E61i to my iMac all i see is :

$ lsusb Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0421:0002 Nokia Mobile Phones
